Vendor Service Level Agreement

1. Scope
This Vendor Service Level Agreement (“Vendor SLA”) applies to every home kitchen approved to sell on 242 Bites (“Vendor”, “you”). It supplements the Terms of Service and is accepted at vendor signup.
By checking the agreement box at signup, you confirm you have authority to bind the kitchen and agree to this Vendor SLA and the Terms of Service.
2. Onboarding and approval
Submitting a signup application does not guarantee listing. Applications are reviewed before your store is activated.
You must provide accurate kitchen details, menu items, sales days, hours, and pickup location. We may request corrections or additional information before going live.
Until your listing is approved, your store will not accept public orders. We will notify you by email when your kitchen is live or if your application is declined.
3. Kitchen operations
You are responsible for all food preparation, packaging, hygiene, and compliance with applicable health, business, and food-safety regulations in The Bahamas.
You will maintain truthful menu descriptions, allergen information where known, and accurate pricing. You will not list items you cannot reliably prepare on your published sales days.
You will monitor the Vendor Portal for new orders during operating hours and respond within a reasonable time. Repeated failure to confirm or fulfill orders may result in suspension.
4. Order handling
When an order is placed, you should confirm it promptly in the Portal and provide an accurate ready time when requested.
If an item is sold out or unavailable, mark it sold out or use the sold-out workflow so the customer can adjust the order before preparation begins.
You will not cancel confirmed orders without good cause and timely customer communication. Chronic cancellations may lead to removal from the Platform.
Pickup is cash-on-collection unless we enable other payment methods. You are responsible for collecting payment and resolving payment disputes directly with the customer.
5. Platform fees and billing
Platform fees apply to completed orders as configured in your Vendor Portal or our defaults at signup:
Large plate orders: fee per large plate line item completed.
Small plate orders: fee per small plate line item completed.
Sides, desserts, and beverages only (no plates in the order): fee per qualifying line item completed.
Fees are calculated automatically from order data. Monthly statements are available in the Portal. You agree to pay invoiced amounts within the payment period stated on the invoice.
We may update default fee schedules with notice. Continued use after notice constitutes acceptance unless you terminate in accordance with Section 9.
6. Branding and customer experience
You will represent your kitchen professionally on the Platform and in customer communications. Offensive, misleading, or discriminatory content is prohibited.
You grant 242 Bites permission to display your kitchen name, logo, theme colors, menu, and location on the Platform and in marketing that features participating kitchens.
7. Customer data
Customer contact details provided with orders are for fulfillment and order-related messages only. You must not sell or share this data with third parties for unrelated marketing.
You will handle customer data in line with applicable privacy laws and our privacy practices as published on the Platform.
8. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or remove your listing immediately for breach of this Vendor SLA, the Terms of Service, health or safety concerns, fraud, or harm to customers or the Platform.
You may request to close your kitchen listing by contacting us. Outstanding platform fees remain due for orders completed before closure.
9. Changes to this Vendor SLA
We may update this Vendor SLA. The version accepted at signup is recorded on your account. Material changes will be posted with a new “Last updated” date; continued operation after notice constitutes acceptance unless you cease using the Platform.
